Not all web hosting plans will be able to satisfy both. Video playback depends on having adequate bandwidth and good server performance to handle the video and website visitors. If you are on shared hosting or even a cloud hosting plan, such large files can quickly use up any storage allocation. A good quality video usually ranges from a few hundred megabytes to 1-2 gigabytes in size. Video files are usually very large in size. Even if your video fits inside the limit, upload too many and you’ll quickly exhaust your storage limit! You can increase the maximum upload size manually or by contacting your hosting service provider.Īlthough not all web hosts apply such a small file limit, many do and most will have file size limits of some kind. In many cases, the maximum upload size is as little as 50MB. Most servers come with a file size limit for uploads. I can’t find anything remotely helpful online, and this is really annoying since I wanted to send one of the videos to my friend.Leave a comment below if you want to join the conversation, or click here if you would like personal help or to engage with our team privately. Since this time it’s not on iCloud Drive, I think the issue is with all downloaded videos, not iCloud Drive files. The video transferred to the apple TV app and is visible, but once again, when I click play, it doesn’t work. I also tried to transfer one of the videos from my laptop to my phone using a transfer app on my laptop. My WiFi and settings are all fine and as they should be, and I have plenty of iCloud storage available. When I try to send any of the videos anywhere, e.g. The videos I already had, plus a new one I downloaded today, appear as normal, but when I click play, a play symbol with a line through it appears. But now, on my new phone with the latest ios, I can’t watch them.

On my old phone I could watch them on the Files app with no issues. I have a couple of MP4 videos on iCloud Drive that I uploaded from my laptop.

I recently switched from iPhone 6s to a brand new iPhone SE.
